The Sorting TableSeventy-Three Undelivered Letters
These letters were written, sealed, and never delivered. We do not open them. We only find where they were meant to go. A few reached this table by other roads; they are catalogued apart.
The bundle was found where bundles should not be: behind the registers, in a case marked For the Next Owl.
Seventy-three letters were found in the case. Ten are on this table today, joined by five earlier finds kept apart from the new bundle. The other sixty-three remain in archival trays while Ms. Vale examines them one by one.
Explore the catalogue images as much as you like. The originals remain safely under Ms. Vale’s care.
